PHOTOS, VIDEO: check out a Hungarian prison from the inside

You may find an interesting video on the official website of the Hungarian Prison Service showing what a Hungarian jail looks like. The guide is a female guard.

According to her, the yellow line shows which side the convicts should move inside the building. The striped part of the corridor is where they have to wait until they can get out to the yard, where inmates can spend some time in the fresh air.

Officers have keys only for those doors they need to use. Increasing rank means your key may open more doors inside. However, the so-called “king key” can open all doors.

In each prison building, there are recreation rooms for the convicts where they can play darts, football, read or talk with each other.

  1. WOW – looks like a 5 Star Hotel, compared to the “inner” Budapest Public Hospital, that I spent 13 days in recently – that was ABSOLUTLY likened to 3rd World.
I could not be – by stretcher – on my ward level, placed in an elevator, to be taken to the operation theater’s – one floor above my ward.
I had to walk assisted – one flight of stairs – then placed on the trolley and moved to theatre.
I could write a book – my experiences.
Overall it was DISGRACEFUL – and when we THINK – what this Hungarian Government have spent on Sporting Arenas alone, and NOT on – the NEEDS like Hospitals, Health of all sections of need to the Citizens – then over-all Education – facilities for the age and mental handicap.
Hungarians – action time, or has time and funding run out ???
Reading into the Public Health Systems in Hungary – all categories of it, which are the NEEDS of every day Hungarians, either with Private Medical coverage or not, it like Education, in its broadness – these (2) of extreme PRIORITIES of Society – the fact in Hungary is – we have No Money – we over-all neglected them, in times we HAD funding from the European Union, choosing to build Sporting Stadiums and “other” un-needed facilities.
We know who the BIG Winners where in the decisions and direction – European Funding was USED.
NOW – the cataclysmic MESS we as a country are in – we are left with on-going RAPID – deterioration – an Education system and a Hospital Health system – that is IMPLODING.
WHY – do we go on and on – in Hungary -TOLERATING – all this abuse IMPOSED on us – as Human Beings – by a Government, that we know, facts keep being presented to us, there Duty of Care – responsibilities to us as Citizens, is literally APPALLING.
Why – and is there time to fix this if growing numbers are WAKING up to FACTS – trepidation from this communicator,
that our presence of membership in the European Union is DECAYING and that we continual to move at a rapid pace as a society under Dictatorial direction, and will witness FURTHER use of Rule by Decree.
